A bit about me and my work:

I 🩷 creating unique jewellery & metal art inspired by beloved & cherished landmarks, landscapes and locations.

I adore unique textures. 

I hand make amazing & unique pieces by capturing the textures of various locations in :

Bonnie Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and Northumbria.

I am using the word for the old kingdom of Northumbria as it entailed Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham and part of what is now South of Scotland.

I work with a range of metals;

-precious metals like recycled Sterling silver and 24ct gold leaf.

- non precious metals: aluminium, copper, pewter, stainless steel.

REUSING materials is important to me:

I reclaim, repurposed, recycle , relove, upcycle metals and materials as much as I can.

Eg, scrap metal, metal off cuts, saving metals and remnants from landfill …

I use traditional smithing techniques and tools as well as modern ones like drills, tumblers, cutters etc.

I also make metal & mixed media ART which is also inspired by locations.
