About Me

My journey into jewellery making began not in a studio, but in the memories of my childhood. Growing up with my creative grand aunts, I watched in fascination as their sketches were transformed into wearable art by local jewellers. That spark stayed with me for "many moons," eventually calling me back to the bench and metal tools to find my own voice in metal.

Capturing the Soul of the Land

In 2022, my passion became my life’s work. Based in the heart of the landscapes I love, I create Textures of Scotland and Textures of Northumbria—jewellery that carries a physical piece of history.

Unlike traditional designs, my process begins "in the wild." I visit historic landmarks, ancient ruins, and storied locations to take direct impressions of the stones and walls that have stood for centuries. Using traditional smithing tools alongside modern techniques, I transform these raw imprints into silver and gold.

A Connection to the Past

Whether I am capturing the rugged spirit of breathtaking Bamburgh Castle, Outlander filming location, historic Scottish castle and landmarks or the hidden textures of a Highland glen, my goal is the same: to preserve heritage.

I am a strong believer that my Viking ancestors once roamed the lands I love so much , and through my work, I help others find their own sense of belonging.

My jewellery isn't just an accessory; it’s a tangible connection to a place, a memory, or a story. When you wear a piece of my work, you are literally touching the history of the specific place.

The Girl Who Found the Rainbow

When I’m not in the studio or out exploring the textures of the coast, I’m likely diving into Scottish heritage or tending to my own "wee" business. And for those who often ask—yes, I truly did marry Mr. Rainbow! It’s a name that reflects the joy and colour I try to bring into the world, one imprint at a time.
